Liquid food waste, such as expired or surplus beverages, dairy, and other liquids that have potentially gone bad, often pose a disposal challenge. Luckily, Select Milling specializes in liquid materials. We will locate and destroy these liquid materials and responsibly recycle them into valuable feed for our livestock. Our process ensures that even those liquids that cannot be consumed or sold are diverted from landfills and repurposed for a sustainable cause.
DRY MATERIALS
Dry materials refer to food waste that is in a solid, non-liquid form. This includes materials such as grains, cereals, dried fruits, and more. Often at Select Milling, these materials are past their expiration date, damaged, or even overproduced. Select Milling will take these dried goods on a journey of our waste reduction process and give them purpose once more.
BY-PRODUCTS
By-Products are materials resulting from food production and processing that are no longer suitable for human consumption or further use in food production. These materials can include leftovers, food scraps, and off-cuts. Select Milling will take these by-products and once more recycle them into feed for our livestock.
PACKAGED FOODS
Select Milling specializes, and is happy to, handle a wide variety of packaged food products that you may need off your hands. The products can include dairy, frozen foods that we allow to melt, snack items, and more. Our process ensures the de-packaging and certified destruction of these materials, preventing them from ending up in a landfill.
